All C-SPAN programming for historical, educational, research, and archival uses is now available on the C-SPAN Video Library for free. Every C-SPAN program that has aired since 1987 is located in the C-SPAN Archives and is immediately accessible through the database and electronic archival systems.
The congressional sessions and committee hearings are indexed by person with full-text. The video collection can be searched through the online Video Library.
The Archives records all three C-SPAN networks seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
