A new website, Courtlistener (http://courtlistener.com) now makes tracking court proceedings easier and more efficient. This no-cost services allows users to sign up for alerts covering the Federal and Supreme Court Circuits.
To add an alert, simply type in a word or phrase into the search box on the website. Click on the hyperlink for html text of the transcripts as well as to set the alert.
Background on the website:
This site was created by Michael Lissner as part of a masters thesis at the University of California, Berkeley School of Information. Michael was advised by Assistant Professor, Brian Carver. The goal of the site is to create a free and competitive real time alert tool for the U.S. judicial system.
