Newspaper Map is a free resource that allows you to search for and translate over 10,000 newspapers into any language. This unique search tool lets you type in the city, state, or country in the search window. Or you can simply drag the map to the country of your selection. Colored balloons indicate specific languages (yellow = English, purple = Russian, etc).

You can also read through older newspapers, just hit the Historical button in the search window. For example, you can find the San Francisco Call newspaper dating from 1895 – 1913.

The maps graphics are high resolution, so loading may take some time on slower/older computers. Once you click on the balloon for the language and newspaper of your choice, you are redirected to that newspaper’s homepage and the site is translated view Google’s Language Translation tool.
