New Deal Periodic Table

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library unveiled an Interactive Period of the New Deal as crafted by Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Great Depression.

The New Deal was the name given to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s complex package of economic programs developed to combat the Great Depression in the 1930s. By collecting and grouping information regarding this major component of the Roosevelt Presidency, the periodic table may help teachers and students study and understand these important elements of American history.

Modeled after the periodic table of elements, this tool allows you to hover the mouse over one of the New Deal Elements and see all the relevant information regarding dates, program title, beginning and end date of the program. This easy to use guide is a great tool for teachers, for students and for fans of history. You can also download a printable PDF.
