In a press release yesterday, Westlaw announced some major enhancements to their Ipad app that will make it more user-friendly when offline.
The WestlawNext iPad app now includes the ability to save and view documents, including notes and highlights, in offline folders. Researchers can continue their analysis, even when they don’t have an Internet connection. When a connection is re-established, work done offline is automatically synchronized with the online application. The ability to have access to legal research even in the absence of a cellular broadband or Wi-Fi connection enables lawyers and other researchers to step up their client service to a whole new level and address client issues anytime, anywhere.
