Goodbye plastic bags and thanks for all the memories

Just a reminder that starting January 1st, San Jose stores will no longer provide plastic bags. In a push for a more green San Jose, residents are encouraged to bring their own bags to stores, or pay 10 cents for a paper bag. The ordinance applies to all city retailers except restaurants and non-profits.
