Locating the Law: A Handbook for Non-law Librarians

The Southern California Association of Law Libraries via the Public Access to Legal Information Committee has recently posted an updated edition to: Locating the Law: A Handbook for Non-law librarians. The title is now in its 5th edition, revised.

Changes include: updated links, additional titles to various chapters and the List of Common Abbreviations in the Law moved from the end of Chapter 2 to Appendix B.

The publication is available online only as a PDF. Everyone is encouraged to read or print the document for their own use.

This is a great resource for new students as well as library staff for legal reference.
