101st International Woman’s Day

Today marks the 101st International Woman’s Day.

There are currently 17 countries with women as head of government, head of state or both, which according to Inter-Parliamentary Union and UN Women, has more than doubled since 2005. The Guardian offers a great insight and article on women in politics and how that arena has changing over the years and what we can expect and hope for in the future.

There is also a fascinating article at The Law Society: interviews with some of the most influential women in law.
