A new courthouse for downtown San Jose is being funded and see its groundbreaking ceremony next month.
The new $230 million dollar Family Justice Center is set to rise near St. James Park, with the groundbreaking ceremony on July 16th. The center is set to include 20 courtrooms and consolidate operations that are currently spread throughout 6 different locations, which currently include: family court, juvenile dependency court, drug and mental health court, child support, probate investigations and self-help.
If all goes well, it should be completed by 2015. This is exciting news for Lincoln Law School students. You can watch the new courthouse being built as you law the foundation of your legal career at our school. For more information about our school, make sure to RSVP or drop in for our summer Open House, being held July 11th at 5:30pm.
